Phil Murphy is the founder and principal consultant at Twickenham Consulting Ltd. With over a decade of experience spanning financial services, asset finance, and the energy transition space, Phil brings a unique blend of commercial insight, delivery focus, and strategic thinking.
He has worked with a range of innovative businesses and established providers, including:
🟢 Financial services firms – helping modernise operations, align propositions with regulatory change, and build resilience in fast-moving markets.
🟢 Asset finance brokers and lenders – advising on go-to-market strategy, origination growth, and the evolution of funding models, with a focus on the Energy Transition space.
🟢 Commercial vehicle and energy infrastructure partners – supporting the financing and rollout of EV fleets, Energy-as-a-Service models, and low-carbon propositions.
Phil previously worked for Siemens Financial Services and Hitachi Capital, then held senior roles in commercial and project leadership at Capitas Finance, where he structured complex Energy Services Agreements and helped bridge the gap between funders, OEMs, and end users.
He is currently engaged in leading-edge advisory work with firms supporting the energy & commercial EV transition, designing total cost of ownership models, partnering with infrastructure providers, and helping align business models with net-zero ambitions.
